Saying Good-bye to Molly
On June 18, 2025, we had to say good-bye to our beautiful baby girl, our first “child, our dog, Molly. She had cancer in May 2024 and survived it through chemo. But in May 2025, her cancer returned and we decided to move forward with palliative treatment only. The first few weeks were good, and she displayed energy and interest in walks and eating. But then, in mid-June, she quickly deteriorated and we decided to say good-bye. I had always wanted a dog and she was my dream come true. We loved her so much and are so sad that she is no longer here.
Molly and her litter were born in the Husky House rescue organization in Matawan, NJ, in December 2014. We adopted her when she was 3.5 months old, basically three months after we moved into The Cozy Cottage. She was perfect for us from day one.

I will miss the smell of her ears and paws, her howl, her beautiful coat, how she put up with my endless physical affection even though she was never much of a cuddler, the sound of her moving around the house and the jingle jangle of her collar.

Thank you for a wonderful 10 years, Molly. We love you forever.
